Bug ID: 506206 Summary: Multiple issues with the map in Time Zone page Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version First 6.4.1 Reported In: Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: filip.kend...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I uploaded video (I think it will fit) some issues can be seen, other might not. I know we should have 1 issue per ticket, but I think these could all be related and worked together. 1. It's laggy, when you move mouse fast enough (doesn't even need to be super fast) it fails to highlight countries/zones 2. Map doesn't move the same speed as mouse does when you click and drag the map (If we start in drag in France, it's expected for the cursor to remain in France after the drag). 3.Dragging mouse up down, map goes up-left and down-left 4. Unnecessary zooming in and out when clicking some countries even with countries that are small enough to fit in the screen. 5. I can't zoom in. Only 1 tick (with mouse, two ticks with the + button) from most zoomed out and user should really be able to zoom in more than that 6. When user click on a country that's small enough fo the map to zoom in the more detailed map is displayed with region (not sure) borders displayed. I think this makes the map more complicated and harder to read without added benefit, but might be wrong here STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Just use the map as described above SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.3-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
