I asked about the CLI preference at a forum (https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/521603-why-need-CLI-console-to-use-GUI-KMail-Help?p=2803654#post2803654) before I knew it worked in KDE's DE but no one replied. Why isn't KHelpCenter working in whatever GUI desktop environment we happen to be using? Are you getting it in any GUI other than KDE? If not, then this may need an enhancement request somewhere, probably first within KDE to make KHelpCenter compatible with a competitor's GUI.
