I can't reproduce this with the 25.04.2 appimage and a minimal test project
with
only a title clip generating text with the typewriter effect.
It renders and plays with no error at all.
I am running this on a system with a UTF-8 locale (as all modern linux systems
should
be using these days). Mine with LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
