SUMMARY
Wayland: Enabling "Accent color from wallpaper" crashes plasmashell and
prevents re-login

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into KDE Plasma 6.3.5 Wayland session
2. Open System Settings → Appearance → Colors
3. Enable "Accent color from wallpaper"

OBSERVED RESULT
- Splash screen appears and freezes, or session immediately returns to GDM
login screen
- No desktop, panels, or widgets load
- Unable to use Plasma session unless setting is disabled manually

EXPECTED RESULT
- Desktop should load normally
- Accent color should be extracted from wallpaper without crashing plasmashell

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 25.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0
Qt Version: 6.8.3
Windowing System: Wayland
Display Manager: GDM3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The issue is 100% reproducible
- Temporary workaround: Log into another desktop environment (e.g., GNOME),
open System Settings, and disable the "Accent color from wallpaper" option
under Colors
- After that, Plasma Wayland session loads correctly
- No backtrace available, as plasmashell crashes silently
