SUMMARY
When using kicker with panel opacity set to opaque, the first level menu is
opaque but the other levels menu are transparent.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On plasma/X11 enable the compositor if disabled.
2. In the panel settings se the opacity to Opaque
3. Click on the kicker menu and submenu
OBSERVED RESULT
First level menu opaque, submenus translucent
EXPECTED RESULT
First level menu and all submenus should be opaque following the panel setting.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.0, but bug is present since 6.0.0.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This same bug was reported as bug#481595 16 months ago. After being ignored for
more than 1 year it was recently closed as FIXED. However, no patch was posted
to check with the user if such "fix" was working, not a reference to a commit
with the "fix" was posted. After the bug was closed, plasma 6.3.5 and then
plasma 6.4.0 were released, both of which still show the bug.
Please provide a patch/commit for the user to test before closing the bug.
