I've just upgraded to ubuntu 25.04 on a new machine and am seeing the file
system filling up with messages in /var/log/syslog. is morning (I left the m/c
on and amarok running) I had this in /var/log
/var/log:

cpu doesn't appear overloaded. Now playing music with amarok and messages are
still appearing in syslog, I'll close it and reopen..
