So on Fedora, the QtMultimedia backend itself uses GStreamer rather than ffmpeg
(abstraction layers all the way down…), which it why it makes sense that it
could be a GStreamer problem.

However I'm afraid the issue is not fixed for me on Fedora 42 with GStreamer
1.26.2-1.fc42.

Perhaps openSUSE Tumbleweed applied a patch that fixes it, which could also
explain the -1.1 version.
