Bug ID: 505169 Summary: 'Do not disturb' notification briefly visible in panel when going into fullscreen Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version First 6.4.80 Reported In: Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: System Tray widget Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: tkr...@proton.me CC: mate...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 182000 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=182000&action=edit Notifications applet appears in the panel briefly. SUMMARY When going into fullscreen, the notification applet thinks it would be relevant to appear on the panel. During the animation of going fullscreen, this is briefly visible. It happens when exiting fullscreen as well. Since theoretically a window can't be fullscreen while the panel is visible and vice versa, I don't think this should be the intended behaviour. The notification applet shouldn't appear when the fullscreen triggers the 'Do not disturb' mode. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a fullscreenable app, like Haruna. 2. Go into Fullscreen mode (in Haruna, press F). 3. Exit Fullscreen mode. OBSERVED RESULT The notification applet briefly appears in the panel during steps 2 and 3. EXPECTED RESULT Notification applet doesn't appear.
