So if I understand correctly it is no longer an option either to create a
personal oauth token, as I once did when the KDE one had expired?

It's beyond stupid (IMHO) if individual users can't indicate that they're fine
with a particular piece of software accessing their supposedly sensitive data!

I agree that KDE shouldn't impersonate Gnome, but we *could* list the
applications & components that need to be installed in order to have a working
alternative to accessing GDrive via the browser?

Heck, maybe someone could write an adapter that allows *using* the Gnome
component from KDE applications, instead of impersonating it?
