It's beyond stupid (IMHO) if individual users can't indicate that they're fine with a particular piece of software accessing their supposedly sensitive data! I agree that KDE shouldn't impersonate Gnome, but we *could* list the applications & components that need to be installed in order to have a working alternative to accessing GDrive via the browser?
