This is intentional; in the past we disabled the text automatically and people
complained about that instead.
However if you don't want to see the text in your specific use case (because
yeah, I can see that with such a tiny widget, it gets in the way of the chart),
you can remove its sensor from the "Total Sensors" field on the configuration
page.
