That is my comment. I am not an iio sensor proxy developer... And you really
should've explained how your device works much earlier.

Yes, but not panel_orientation. It hints to KMS that the display is rotated vs.
the device, it is not there for configuring early boot rotation.
"rotate" is the option you need. See
