--- Comment #5 from Wismill <d...@wismill.eu> --- For what is worth, `setxkbmap` uses `XkbRF_SetNamesProp()` from `libxkbfile` to set the layout component names. But I am not sure that any Wayland compositor cares. I checked Gnome’s Mutter and it does not.
