Bug ID: 504910 Summary: Allowing bigger value for history Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version First 6.3.5 Reported In: Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Color Picker widget Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@koshie.fr CC: k...@privat.broulik.de Target Milestone: 1.0 Hello, My wife use this widget, it save the last color copied in the history. So, her issue is the size of the history, each time she copy a new color, first become second, second become third, etc. And the last is removed (9th). She would need to get a way bigger history. As a suggestion, could it be «infinite» or at least having way bigger value ? If infinite history isn't practicable, in my humble opinion it should be between 32-64, keeping way more colors while not giving too much. If infinite history, I guess it could be a good idea too to get a button that clear the history if it start to become too big ? STEPS TO REPRODUCE Pick a color when there are already 9 previous copy and so, while history is full. OBSERVED RESULT First become second, second become thirst, etc until 9th and last is replaced by 8th and this value gets removed for ever. EXPECTED RESULT Having a bigger history size, at least 32 ? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Gentoo Linux (6.12.28-gentoo-dist-hardened) KDE Plasma: 6.3.5-r1 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13 Qt Version: 6.8.3 Please ask if I forgot something.
