Can anyone still reproduce this on current Plasma? For me, having the mouse
over the point where a search item appears after opening Kicker and typing
something in does not move keyboard focus to that column, it's as if the
pointer wasn't there.
It's not the case if I move the pointer after that, which will move focus, but
that is expected (and how menus work elsewhere). It's also not the case for
submenus, which directly open under the mouse pointer when opening Kicker, but
that is tracked in bug 423688.
