Bug ID: 504877 Summary: Image getting jaggy/messy pixels when pasting anything Classification: Applications Product: kolourpaint Version First unspecified Reported In: Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kolourpaint-supp...@lists.sourceforge.net Reporter: awvalenti+...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 181782 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=181782&action=edit Sample screenshot of both jaggy and correct displays SUMMARY KolourPaint Flatpak 25.04.1 messes up pixels when pasting anything to it. Please check the attachments. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy anything to clipboard (especially when doing a printscreen) 2. Paste it into KolourPaint OBSERVED RESULT Image gets jaggy EXPECTED RESULT Image should be exactly as the copied one SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) - kinfo didn't work Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon 64-bit KDE Plasma Version: don't know KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.8.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Saved image is fine. It only is displayed badly during editing KolourPaint Flatpak 25.04.1 presents the problem. KolourPaint installed via apt install (v21.12.3, KDE Frameworks 5.92.0, Qt 5.15.3) works fine, does not have this bug. This may be caused by font scaling factor of 1.3 that I use on Linux Mint. Flatpak version seems to simply scale everything (including icons on left and image on canvas) and that causes the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
