I'm not able to reproduce this with a Dell XPS 17
Setup:
Keyboard backlight at 100%
Steps to reproduce:
1. Put the system to sleep, wake it up
Expect: The keyboard backlight is on at 100% - ok
2 . Attempt to adjust the keyboard backlight with the keyboard key
Expect: It is adjusted - ok
