That looks correct. Let's see if the app shows the surfaces correctly. Please
start it with
> WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 hdrcalibrator DP-3
move the slider a bit, and then just close it again.
If you attach the output of that here, we should hopefully see the problem.
Also, what icon theme are you using?
