Yeah there are a couple of bugs in Nvidia 570.133.07 that create issues with
wayland.

sounds like a driver issue to me. I also had issues with that driver version
and screen freezes that were fixed by upgrading to the Nvidia beta drivers
(575.51.02 currently). If you want you can try that, see if it helps.
PS: Does your frozen display recover when you power that screen off and on
again?
