This affected all sorts of notifications like for Spectacle, in which the normal icon for the application would be replaced instead by an avatar from discord. I've provided a mockup of what was happening since it seems to have corrected itself since. It did not seem to affect notifications like Spotify that could have live or updating content in the notification.
