I can confirm the issue in Chrome, Chromium, Ungoogled Chromium, and also
Firefox, yeah.
Our reference implementation in the form of xdg-portal-test-kde still does the
right thing, so it seems like there's something specific to these usages of it.
I'll mark this as a duplicate of Bug 475668 and re-open it fur further
investigation.
