Generally the developers at KDE are very good at fixing them quite quickly. This is one of the few bugs I've been involved with logging that seems to have very little developer feedback and yet is fairly serious (but then I don't know who in this discussion is a developer and who is not). Perhaps they have been unable to isolate the issue so far.
