I see messages in the logs that come from QWebEngine, presumably from the
graphics system, and they always seem to take a few seconds.
I'll have to test this on my Windows systems. Please enable the option to force
software OpenGL in the digiKam settings under Miscellaneous -> System to see if
it makes a difference.
