Bug ID: 503916 Summary: Switching users causes loss of network Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Networks widget Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: axel.br...@gmx.de Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 181059 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=181059&action=edit Screenshot of error message I regularly switch between two users: User 1 has a wifi network configured (access NOT for all users) Switching to user 2: No issue at first glance (network is available) Switching forth and back. Leave session for user 2 open for a longer period (default screensaver time) Network is suddenly gone. Need to switch back to user one and see a pop-up 'System-settings prevent the change of own network settings' (something like that) and asking for root-password. See attachment I dont think that should happen Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250503 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
