Still, I think upgrading to Fedora 42 is probably the way to go. I'm on 6.8.2 and I guess I'm stuck on 6.8 in Fedora 40. I'm nervous though. This could make for a total laptop reinstall; I've had some weird incompatibilities pop up in the past so I'm hesitant. I'll try to go before June 2025.
