Bug ID: 503810 Summary: System monitor sensor desktop widget in a panel fails to change color on first apply Classification: Applications Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: 6.3.5 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: daforl...@gmail.com CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When a system monitor sensor is made a desktop widget, and then put into a panel, its sensor details colors will be the default blue instead of whatever it was set to. I believe this is a reported (not fixed) issue, though I can't find it anymore. But when I attempt to change the color to the correct one and hit "Apply", it doesn't actually change. I have to change submenus in the settings window, and then back, then change the color *again* (it shows that it is set to the correct color at this point), then hit "Apply" again. *Then* it'll change to the set color. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Right click a system monitor sensor chart in system monitor and click "Add chart as Desktop widget" 2. Enter panel edit mode and drag the widget to a panel. 3. Right click widget in the panel and click "Configure system monitor sensor" 4. Go to "Sensors details" and attempt to change the color of a Sensor. 5. Click "Apply" OBSERVED RESULT The color of the sensor does not change. EXPECTED RESULT The color of the sensor should change to the selected color.
