Robert Svensson <k...@krs.sh> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |k...@krs.sh --- Comment #32 from Robert Svensson <k...@krs.sh> --- I can reproduce this consistently if I try to enable HDR on one of my monitors connected through DisplayPort. The system freezes for some time before going back to normal. I think it is the display confirmation dialog that times out and makes it go back to normal again. After it snaps out of it the Display Configuration settings gives an error at the top saying "Couldn't apply display configuration: The driver rejected the output configuration", and the "GL_FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_ATTACHMENT" errors are abundant in the kwin system log when checking afterwards. That error about the driver rejecting the config might be a red herring but thought I'd mention it anyway. There's no issue enabling HDR on my LG C1 TV connected through HDMI 2.1 interestingly enough. It's only this particular monitor, which isn't very good at HDR so it's not a big issue for me. But would be nice to have it fixed regardless. It used to work in the past, but at some point some months ago it stopped working. I'm not sure what has changed to cause it to not work anymore, as I don't often enable HDR on that monitor so I don't know exactly when it started happening.
