I also have the gain plugin running on one segment in a track which doesn't seem to be retaining the changes either. This has been happening with more than one project so it indicates that it is not just one corrupt project file. I have been using Kdenlive for several years on Kde Neon without this happening so I'm thinking it is a bug recently introduced or something related to my system which is malfunctioning. I can see that the audio levels in the mixer and the gain plugin revert to previous levels after a project is saved and then reopened. I am just using one timeline with 4 audio tracks and 3 video tracks. The rendering is only using 2 video tracks and 2 audio tracks.
