Using AppImages on Linux I've been able to reproduce general strangeness with
the SVG file layers, but at least as of the official 5.1 release I'm not
experiencing any issues. No rendering problems, the image updates when changed
and saved in Inkscape, no pop-ups, no delays.
I'm going to change the status to resolved per the bughunt instructions, so
just reopen the bug if it's still around to somebody else :)
