Thank you for your response.

I found the problem was because I moved & resized the partition with a Windows
third-party software (EaseUS Partition Master 13.0), which flagged it as a
windows system partition (or something like that).
I re-flagged it as a Linux Root Partition (x86) from a bootable USB drive, that
fixed the bug.

In conclusion, I'm not sure this is worth reporting to Debian either (maybe to
EaseUS), but I wanted to reply this for future reference if someone ever makes
the same mistake.
