Can you still reproduce this? I can't on current git master with also
presumably newer versions of the audio stack.
The audio stack itself also matters; e.g. with Pure PulseAudio,
switch-on-connect was not enabled by default, whereas with PipeWire, it is. I'm
using PipeWire now, so if you're not doing that, it might help.
