I have experienced this bug as well, but not quite like the previous reports.
I'm on endeavour and I was doing an update, with 'yay -Syu', fairly standard,
BUT when propted for my password through sudo, it did not accept it, I checked
in a text editor wondering if my keyboard was bugging or the layout was
switched, but no. After this, I logged out, because I thought that may help,
but then I was stuck on the login screen like the others trying without any
succes to login with my password.
I don't know if it is a factor, but my admin and user passwords are the same.
A reboot helps whenever this happens on my system (happened a couple of times
since on plasma 6), but it has been a while since I last encountered the bug.
