            Bug ID: 503453
Summary: The "Refresh Devices" menu item is in an non-intuitive
                    menu location
    Classification: Applications
           Product: partitionmanager
           Version: 25.04.0
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: andr...@stikonas.eu
          Reporter: k...@callthecomputerdoctor.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

As I don't use Partition Manager often, I keep having to re-acquaint myself
with the interface. The "Refresh Devices" command in the Tools menu is the last
place I look for that command and I wind up being annoyed that I have to hunt
for it.

It would make more sense to find it in Device menu, as the command is related
to devices.

I don't see the rationale for it being in the Tool menu when a tool is just a
generic utility that doesn't have any other clear place in the interface.

I also am a visual person, so I prefer to use the GUI than remember keyboard
shortcuts.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. I want to refresh the device list.
2. Click on Device menu.

OBSERVED RESULT

Where is the Refresh command?

EXPECTED RESULT

"Refresh Devices" makes logical sense for it to be under the Device menu.
