When I connect my monitor (Samsung M7) with a cable that works with other
devices, the system does not detect the second monitor. I recently upgraded to
24.04 (upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04 and then switched to Kubuntu 24.04). Can there
be an issue about packages?

SUMMARY
The system cannot detect the external monitor.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on the computer
2. Connect the monitor
OBSERVED RESULT
Monitor is not detected on the computer and turns off due to idleness
EXPECTED RESULT
Monitor is detected on Display Configuration screen with resolution options
