Thank you for the bug report. You've reported two different issues:
- Panel popup is way too long
- There is unnecessary `|` between date and time
The date and time configuration is not something I see on a stock Fedora 42
install, that must be a setting. You may be able to get help formatting it the
way you want if you post about it at https://discuss.kde.org This isn't a bug
in KDE Plasma.
Let's address the panel popups in this report.
I tested with a Fedora VM display set to different 768 resolutions, and don't
see popups taking up as much space as in your screenshot
1024x768 @ 100% (4:3)
1366x768 @ 100% (16:9)
You can change the size of the notifications popup, or other popups, by
dragging one of the borders.
