--- Comment #1 from TraceyC <kde...@tlcnet.info> ---
Thank you for the bug report, and the screen recording demonstrating the
problem. There are actually two related but different bugs here.

Bug 1 - Task Manager improperly moving icons in a different activity when
moving them in the current activity.
That's tracked in bug 487462. Please follow that report for updates on that
issue.

Bug 2 - Favorites in the Application Menu
This doesn't have another bug report, so let's focus on that in this one.

I am not able to replicate the bug on git-master
Can I ask you to see if you can replicate this bug with a brand new user?

My testing:

1. I have three activities
2. I pinned certain favorites to activity 2 - I only see them in that activity
3. I pinned a different favorite to activity 3, and another one to activity 1 -
they are both only shown in the correct activity

The steps in the video related to the app menu (starting around 30 seconds into
the video):
There are two activities - Personnel and Travail
In Personnel, the favorites are Firefox, Kontact, System Settings, Dolphin,
KWrite, Konsole, Discover
Konsole is set o only be shown in Personnel
1. Konsole is also shown on the Travail activity incorrectly, even while its
right click menu shows it is only supposed to be shown on Personnel
2. Discover is shown in both activities
2a. The menu in the Travail activity shows it should be shown in neither, no
boxes are checked under the Activities context menu
2b. The menu in the Personnel activity shows it should be only listed in
Personnel
3. Kate is shown in the Personnel activity, the context menu shows it should
only be shown in Travail
4. Moving the Kate icon to a different spot in the App Menu in the Travail
activity also moves it in the Personnel activity *but* moving it in the
Personnel activity does *not* move it in the Travail
