            Bug ID: 502862
Summary: Windows lose focus in 2 steps, causing visible delay
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.2.4
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: bizy...@pm.me
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Something I can't unsee since noticing it once:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a maximized window, like your web browser.
2. Open a regular (non-maximized) server-side decorated window, e.g. Dolphin or
Telegram.
3. Click the background maximized window to make it active.

OBSERVED RESULT
You can see that the foreground window loses its focus in two distinct steps:
* The window is first rendered as inactive (desaturated title bar).
* Only then is it hidden behind the maximized one.

EXPECTED RESULT
As a user, I shouldn't have to wait for the window to be rendered as inactive
first when it is going to be fully covered anyway. When clicking the maximized
window, I expect the previously active one to disappear immediately.
