This is a pretty sucky situation to end up in. Not really. It means, most likely, two things: 1) the spec needs improvement. Given this is freedesktop, which we are part of, and everyone else violating it is, this should be feasible 2) regardless of if / how fast 1) happens, if the others are faring better by violating it and our users suffer bugs in popular applications due to us being the only ones following it, we should imho start doing the same that everyone else is doing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
