SUMMARY
Kate has an option to preview "markdown" files, but it does not specify the
flavor of markdown. If the user later uses their markdown file in a framework
or website that assumes a different markdown flavor, it may be difficult to
figure out why the preview in Kate displays differently.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create or open a markdown file.
2. Use the preview.
OBSERVED RESULT
It is unclear which version of Markdown Kate is using to render the document.
EXPECTED RESULT
Kate should inform the user which markdown variant it is using.
