Part of the problem here is that "Do not sort" and "Manually" are nonsensical
to have as two options, since they mean the same thing to most people.
I think that "Do not Sort" is being used as a sort of way to lock positions,
but we should really just make a deliberate feature to lock positions. "Do not
sort" is actually not guaranteed to keep the positions fixed; it simply means
that *you* can't change them. The system is free to change them.
Yes indeed, this is a bit silly, if that's what you were thinking.
