Still, "real" mounts for SMB act the same way as NFS mounts. By "real" i mean the remote folder acts as if part of the local computer (ie simply /home/N-1). The smb:// "mounts" are not as useful, as many apps don't have access, can't open terminal there, and there's no trash bin compatibility.
