This is also reproducible on wayland. As reported, it appears to be 100%
reproducible on X11.

I tested on Kubuntu 25.04 beta:

Operating System: Kubuntu 25.04
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Kernel Version: 6.14.0-13-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: llvmpipe
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: XPS 8500

I almost reported it as not reproducible on wayland, but then it happened. I
created two notes - a tall skinny note and a short wide note, then logged out
and in. Under X11, the note sizes are reset every time. Under wayland, the
notes usually retain their size.

On one test run, it took 14 wayland logins to trigger the issue. On another
wayland test run, it took only two logins.

Then I realized the notes were always on the right-hand display of my
two-display desktop, so I moved them onto the left-hand (primary) display.
This issue seems to be 100% reproducible under wayland with the notes on the
primary display, but a third note on the secondary display was unaffected.
