Bug ID: 501844 Summary: Context menus not usable after switching activity Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 6.3.3 Platform: openSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: activities Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: kde-bugzilla.oink...@passmail.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Hi there, I've just tried using activities, since they seem like virtual desktop on drugs and at first glance, I liked the concept. However, I quickly noticed that after switching activities using the keyboard shortcuts (Meta+A is the default, I set it to Meta+Tab), I can't interact with any right-click context menus anymore. They are hidden behind every window on that activity. The only way to fix it is to re-open the windows. However, after switching to another activity, this issue exists again, making activities unusable for me. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create new activity 2. move window to new activity and switch to it 3. try to open any right-click menu OBSERVED RESULT the menu is hidden behind the window EXPECTED RESULT the menu is in front of the menu SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Yuga Linux 20250320 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.13.7-1-yuga (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 780M Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series) System Version: A7 While this is Yuga Linux, it uses upstream openSUSE Tumbleweed packages.
