            Bug ID: 501918
Summary: Vertical scrolling through 2 finger gesture on
trackpad in library tab is inconsistent and different
                    from horizontal scrolling.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: audiotube
           Version: 24.12.3
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: j...@kaidan.im
          Reporter: axel_meun...@yahoo.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Audiotube on the Library tab.
2. Use 2 finger gestures on touchpad to scroll through content vertically and
horizontally.

OBSERVED RESULT
Vertical scrolling triggered to 2finger gesture on touchpad is registered only
if the mouse pointer is located in certain areas : the scrollbar obviously, but
also between the horizontal series of content (most played, playlists etc.).
When the pointer falls within the square play button/album cover 2finger
gesture never works. In other areas, it is inconsistent.

Horizontal scrolling works flawlessly.

Touchscreen gestures (both vertically and horizontally) work as expected.

EXPECTED RESULT

It would make sense to have vertical scrolling work in the same way as the
horizontal scrolling does : no matter where the mouse pointer is located, 2
finger gestures on the trackpad should trigger vertical scrolling.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 25.04 (development version).
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I do not know if is is a duplicate of bug 483042
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483042 since that bug reports that no
gesture at all is registered when the cursor is outside the scrollbar.
