            Bug ID: 501797
Summary: Dim icons in Folder View widget in the panel, only
                    with view mode "list"
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
Component: Desktop icons & Folder View widget
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: david.de...@ehu.eus
                CC: h...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY

I have a Folder View widget in my panel, configured in list mode. In the last
weeks, probably since updating to Plasma 6.3, the icons in the widget have
become very dim. Ever since Plasma 5, with the exact same themes,
configurations, etc, those icons always looked normal (i.e. bright). Besides
that, I know it's not something to do with my specific configuration because I
have checked on a new user with default themes and settings, and the Folder
View icons look dim there too.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a Folder View widget to your panel. Set it as View mode = List (the bug
doesn't happen with Grid).
2. Click on the widget and have a look at the icons in the list.

OBSERVED RESULT
The icons are very dim.

EXPECTED RESULT
The icons should be as bright as they were in all previous versions, and as
bright as they are in Grid mode.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250318
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Kernel Version: 6.13.6-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- The Folder View must be inside a panel, since the list view mode isn't
available otherwise.

- In the next comment I will show a comparison between the same Folder View
widget (also same Plasma theme, icons, etc) in Plasma 6.1 and Plasma 6.3.
