Because if I hold down the mouse and do not move it it behaves like the pen. The moment I start moving the mouse the marks appear. That is the same behavior for pen. But on release of the button the mouse leaves a mark. I believe the bug is from the code saying On release leave a mark, and pen does not have the on release code.
