            Bug ID: 502181
Summary: Visual bug displaying application in focus and crashes
if you try to close before letting the apps load
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
           Version: 5.27.5
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: discover
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org

A screenshot showing the output of "(gdb) backtrace" within the terminal (Wiki
doesn't explain if there is an output file for gdb so I am attatching this
screenshot as it is the only output).

SUMMARY
When opening Discover, the app will display the app in focus for around ten-ish
seconds then load into the app store like usual. If you attempt to close
Discover while the separate app in focus is still on-screen, it will stop
responding and prompt you to terminate the app. If you choose not to and wait,
it will close by itself after a few seconds.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot up regularly
2. Use system regularly (I'm unsure as to what causes this issue but the apps
that I use regularly include Youtube Music Desktop App, Librewolf, Libreoffice
Writer, qBittorrent, the terminal, Visual Studio Code, Steam, and Counter
Strike 2. It took about an hour for it to cook(?))
3. Open discover
4. If you want it to crash, attempt to close discover while the app in focus is
on screen

OBSERVED RESULT
Discover having visual bug + crashing when attempting to close

EXPECTED RESULT
Discover immediately loading into the store
