Second cursor on lock screen

SUMMARY
Hi there,

after connecting and disconnecting a second screen rather quickly (less than a
30 seconds between connect and disconnect), a second mouse cursor appeared on
my internal screen that doesn't moe and doesn't go away. It's visible
everywhere, so above regular windows, on the lock screen etc.
Curiously, screenshots don't include the cursor, so I took a picture with my
phone.

It happened for the first time now, I have never seen this before, even after
disconnecting this very screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect screen
2. disconnect screen
3. observe

OBSERVED RESULT
second cursor on screen

EXPECTED RESULT
only one cursor on screen
