I have a very similar issue in Plasma 6 with Fedora 41. The issue include not
only hovering over Task Manger Icons but also Desktop Effects: Overview and
Desktop Grid. All of these show blank window thumbnails. The thumbnails include
the application icons, but no a window preview of the application.
