            Bug ID: 501823
Summary: "Find" function yields no results as it only looks
                    after the cursor
    Classification: Applications
           Product: ghostwriter
           Version: 24.12.3
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: megan.con...@kdemail.net
          Reporter: sephiroth...@hotmail.it
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
using the "find" function yields no results if the matching words are before
the cursor. This is contrary to expectations as the find function should look
throughout the whole document, irrespective of where the cursor is: if I am
looking for something while writing, there is actually a significant chance
that it is going to be *before* the cursor, rather than after it.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Write anything.
2. Without moving the cursor (i.e. having it at the end), use the "find"
function to look for a word you have previously written.

OBSERVED RESULT
No results are found.

EXPECTED RESULT
Results are found.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
