It might have been one version earlier Leap 15.3 to 15.4 (Plasma 5.18 to 5.24) already...but I don't have any reliable documentation on that from back when. After I switched to Debian 12 (Plasma 5.27) the issue remained. All observed under X11. I tried to use Wayland at times, and I never encountered the issue under Wayland, but since I ran into other, unrelated issues/showstoppers in Wayland, I never used Wayland long enough to tell for sure if the issue is not applicable to Wayland. Showstoppers for Wayland were mostly GPU driver related, Davinci related and color calibration related.
